A Note From SBB to All Owners -

As you are aware, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is significantly impacting our country, and the disruption has accelerated very quickly. The CDC is recommending that organizations postpone gatherings of more than 10 people. The City of Dallas is closing all venues that hold large crowds and schools, libraries and many restaurants in other municipalities are closed or limiting service and hours.

SBB contacted all the Board members of the communities we manage on Friday, March 13, 2020 to recommend some measures to keep everyone safe. A lot has happened since Friday, so we want everyone to know how SBB will operate over the coming weeks.

Postponing Annual Meetings - The health of the board, residents, and our employees is our #1 priority. Given the recommended government restrictions on gatherings greater than 10 people, we are unlikely to hit quorum levels in the current environment. We will thus be postponing annual meetings, until further notice.

Board meetings to be conducted virtually - SBB is proposing various options for your Board members to hold regular meetings virtually. SBB staff will not attend any Board meetings in person until further notice. With today’s technology, Board members, SBB staff and homeowners can join these meetings remotely. More details will be provided as meetings are scheduled.

In person visits to SBB offices by appointment only - In addition, for everyone’s safety, all SBB offices will schedule in-person visits by appointment only. It is quite possible that our staff will be able to resolve most situations without the need for a visit. However, if a visit is necessary, we want to be able to prepare and take all necessary precautions for the safety of our clients, vendors, colleagues and employees.

SBB is promoting more work-from-home arrangements - To keep our homeowners, Board members and our employees safe, SBB implemented work-from-home arrangements for employees during this difficult time. Currently half the staff works in the office one day and works from home on alternate days. Our offices will remain open, but we ask for your patience if some items take longer than usual.

New Dallas office location - On a completely different topic, SBB moved our Dallas office. Effective March 16, 2020 SBB’s address is 12801 N. Central Expressway, Suite 1401, Dallas, Texas 75243. Our phone number remains the same.
